Summer hits Cebu
I can feel the heat of the sun
My throat desiring for cold water
Sweat running on my forehead
Ah, I need some fresh, cool air
One night or early dawn
I heard a strong sound upon our roof
A very strong sound that wakes me up
Alas, it’s raining outside
Great that I feel cold inside
By morning when I woke up
Preparing myself for work
I am so thankful that it rains
Now I can feel good temperature outside
And balances the head in my body
Praise the Lord
He provides us what we need
For He knows that we can’t bear extreme heat
To God be the glory
